How many sessions are needed?

The number of sessions depends on the tattoo's size, colour, age, and ink depth. Most tattoos require 6-12 sessions spaced 6-8 weeks apart.

Can all tattoo colours be removed?

Black, navy blue and red inks respond best to our laser (a Q-switched Nd:YAG), while colours such as green and yellow are harder to treat. At your consultation we assess your tattoo's colours, age and depth and set realistic expectations.

Is tattoo removal painful?

Most patients describe the sensation as similar to a rubber band snapping against the skin. We offer comfort measures to minimize discomfort during the procedure.
