B-Pulse for Women

B-Pulse Kegel Chair: Pelvic Floor Therapy for Women

Starting at $220/session in a package · Exact pricing at consultation

Leaking when you laugh or sneeze is common, and worth raising. The B-Pulse Kegel chair uses a pulsed electromagnetic field to produce about 13,000 pelvic floor muscle contractions in a session of about 30 minutes, while you sit fully clothed. Picture your pelvic floor as a trampoline under your bladder; B-Pulse gives it a deep workout.

At Thrive! MedAesthetics + Wellness in Aurora, we use B-Pulse for women with bladder leaks and pelvic floor weakness, including after childbirth and around menopause. Sessions are done fully clothed, and most people go straight back to their day.

About This Treatment

What Is B-Pulse?

B-Pulse uses a pulsed electromagnetic field to trigger deep pelvic floor muscle contractions, far more in one session than you could do with voluntary exercises. In a session of about 30 minutes, the chair produces about 13,000 contractions, with the goal of building strength and control in the muscles that support your bladder. Small sham-controlled trials of electromagnetic pelvic floor chairs have found more improvement than sham treatment, though not every trial has, and larger studies are still needed. The treatment is non-invasive, and you stay fully clothed.
