Medical-Grade Chemical Peels: Resurface and Renew
Starting at $150 · Exact pricing at consultation
Chemical peels are a well-established way to treat uneven texture, pigmentation and acne. At Thrive! MedAesthetics, we offer a range of medical-grade peels, from gentle brightening peels to deeper resurfacing treatments, customized to your skin type and goals.
Our peels use carefully selected acids at set concentrations to exfoliate damaged outer layers of skin, prompt cell renewal and support collagen production over a series of treatments.

About This Treatment
A chemical peel is a controlled exfoliation treatment that uses specific acid solutions to lift away damaged outer layers of skin, a little like refinishing a wooden table so the fresh grain shows through. This prompts the skin's natural healing process, and the new skin that forms is often smoother and more even in tone. Results vary.
Also known as: skin peel, acid peel, glycolic peel, salicylic acid peel, TCA peel, medical-grade peel, brightening peel, pigmentation peel, acne peel, anti-aging peel, lunchtime peel

Got Questions?
Superficial peels usually involve minimal downtime, with mild flaking for 1 to 2 days. Medium-depth peels involve 5 to 7 days of visible peeling. Results vary with the peel and your skin.
Chemical peels can often be used on darker skin tones with the right formula and an experienced team. We choose peel types and strengths for darker skin to lower the risk of post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation (dark marks after irritation), and we may suggest preparing the skin with a home routine first.
A series of 3 to 6 peels, spaced 3 to 4 weeks apart, is typically recommended. Maintenance peels can be done seasonally.
You'll feel tingling and warmth during the peel. Deeper peels may cause more intense sensation, but it's brief and well-tolerated.
For superficial peels, you can wear mineral makeup the next day. Medium peels may require 5-7 days before returning to full makeup.
